SCANDALOUS CONDUCT: A FAIRY EXTRAVAGANZA

The Scandalous Conduct team is casting up to 12 actors and dancers to portray US Navy recruits for an upcoming video project about the 1919 Newport Navy Sex Scandal. The piece will explore themes of homophobia and surveillance. The roles are non-speaking and movement-based. However, there is additional opportunity for several vocalists, so a musical theater background is a plus.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Male identifying

  • Age 18-25 (approximate)

  • Daytime Availability March 26 & 27 (Tuesday/Wednesday) for a development workshop

  • Availability mid-May for filming

LOGISTICS

This is a paid position. Online interviews/auditions will be held March 8–11, 2024. A two-day workshop will take place in Providence during the day on March 26 & 27. Actors will then be cast into roles for filming in mid-May, 2024. Exact filming dates TBD.
